The Foltz-Zuerlein American Legion Post 80 in Humphrey is sponsoring Cole Preister, son of Bryce and Shelly Preister, and Owen Kurtenbach, son of Jeff and Erica Kurtenbach, of Humphrey Public School, for Cornhusker Boys’ State June 2-8.
The Goldenrod Conference recently released its all conference teams and the St. Francis Flyers and Lady Flyers were well represented. Earning 1st team honors were Nyla Kessler, Isabel Preister and Carson Wessel. Second team honors went to Karly Kessler and Ethan Wieseler. Jayda Krings and Devon Baumgart earned honorable mentioned recognition.
