A 10-point first-half run allowed Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family to pull away from Clarkson/ Leigh Friday en route to a 68-40 win in the Bulldogs season opener.

They led 13-11 late in the first quarter when the Bulldogs went on a run that decided the game.

Four players scored in double figures for the Bulldogs. Owen Kurtenbach led the way with 18 points, freshman Gavin Friesen came off the bench to score 11, senior Easton Baumgart and sophomore Caden Brandl added 10 points apiece.
