Soapy’s Follies heading to state

An old script rescued from a drawer was brought to life and IS heading to state.

Tina Schumacher found this summer the original play she wrote and St. Francis performed a few years ago while going through a desk drawer, and thought it would be worth bringing back.

She was right. The Lindsay Holy Family/St. Francis One-Act team won the Class D1-4 District at St. Francis last week and will perform “Soapy’s Follies: A Stage Adaptation of The Cop and The Anthem” at state.
