Fruit sales help support Humphrey FFA program

The holidays always get a little tastier thanks to the Humphrey FFA.

The chapter’s annual Fruit Sales were packed up and delivered last week just in time for Christmas.

“We’ve done this for 18 years, every year but my first year,” FFA sponsor Robyn Graham said. “Our first year I don’t know how many orders we had, but we only had $3,000 in sales. We had a lot fewer members. This is a common fundraiser for FFAs chapters to do, the wholesalers around the country work with us so we get good prices, and there’s quality fruit this time of the year.
