St. Francis tightened up its defense in the second half and cruised to a 73-34 win over Riverside here Thursday.
The Flyers surrendered just 6 second half points after giving up 25 in the first two quarters.
“We started well, but we lost some energy, we lost some focus,” head coach Bryan Reichmuth said. “So we had a heartto- heart at halftime, and (in the second half) we did things right. We had the energy. We weren’t doing the silly stuff. In the first half we were rushing shots, silly passes. We played harder on defense and did a better job on rotation.”
