St. Francis was outscored 1610 down the stretch as Riverside rallied to defeat the Flyers 50-46 here Thursday.
The Flyers converted a steal by Tucker Czarnick into a layup by Carson Wessel to take 36-34 lead with 3:55 remaining in the game, but missed shots and turnovers doomed St. Francis.
“They changed defenses, and it certainly caused us problems,” head coach Eric Kessler said. “We seem to be a team that likes to turn the ball over, we had trouble Tuesday night as well, so we’re going to have to correct those things.”
