Humphrey Public School is seeking input on whether to run a second bond issue to build a new 7-12 school building HPS is making a survey available to patrons, which will help the board decide if it should hold another bond issue, if the cost and increased taxes influenced the first failed bond issue and any comments respondents would like to share.
The questions on the survey, are as follows: “Do you believe the board of education should consider another bond initiative to address the urgent needs of the district?” Yes or No.
“Do you believe the reason the first bond initiative failed was due to project cost and tax impact?” Yes or No.
