Pool will make a splash

Humphrey can be proud of its pool.

Members of the Humphrey City Council and maintenance staff, along with Kevin McElyea, principal owner of Aquatic Design Consultants Inc., and Chris Gilson, project manager for Christiansen Commercial Construction, of Pender, walked through the pool facility Dec. 20 to get a glimpse of Humphrey’s newest attraction and see what needs to be completed before its debut.

“I was saying to the last couple people there, for any city, that’s a very nice facility, and it’s going to be something that for decades is going to be cherished in the summertime, it really is,” McElyea said.
