Lindsay Holy Family High School Students had the opportunity to attend two museums in Omaha Dec. 11. The first being the Samuel Bak Art Museum. Bak was born into a Jewish family in Poland in 1933. He endured the Nazi regime and suffered many hardships but always found a way to express his artistic talent from a young age. The aftermath of World War II features prominently in his work, as do visual metaphors representing Jewish genocide and the subsequent liberation of the Jewish people in the 20th century. Students also visited the Kiewit Luminarium. Students were able to interact with more than 100 interactive exhibits and experience astonishing phenomena at the intersection

The students thoroughly enjoyed these experiences and gained a lot of outside knowledge that they could relate to
