Why?
Patron after patron stood up Thursday evening and asked questions, offered comments and told why the merger between St. Francis and Lindsay Holy Family should not happen and why the Flyers mascot should not be changed.
Approximately 400 people attended the meeting, led by Father Stan Schmit, and over about 1 hour and 45 minutes, patrons asked questions — some Father Schmit could answer and others he will relay to Archbishop George Lucas — vented their frustration in a decision no one at the meeting wants.
