It was supposed to be a track meet, but Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family left Madison in the dust. The Bulldogs ran away with a 59-29 win here Thursday.
Despite playing with a short bench because some Lindsay players headed home after a storm hit late in the afternoon rather than get stranded in the storm, the Bulldogs jumped out to a 22-2 first quarter lead, scoring at will.
“Our first quarters have been so bad, so that was fun,” head coach Joe Hesse said. “We came out and played so hard.”
