The Lindsay Walking/Biking Trail took a big step forward.
The low bid to construct the trail was approved Feb. 5 by the Lindsay Village Board of Trustees, and Fred Hoefer, chairman, signed the agreement and support documents to proceed with project.
Andrew Wilshusen, project manager for JEO Consulting Group, read the bids, and recommended Heartland Concrete Co., of Hastings, with a low bid of $384,072, and Lindsay Area Development and the Village of Lindsay will do three aspects of the project, lowering the bid to $368,929.
