Bulldogs whip Madison

A 1-point Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family first quarter lead turned into a 33-18 halftime advantage as the Bulldogs posted a 59-43 win Friday over Madison in the consolation game of the east Husker Conference Tournament. The Bulldogs led 11-10 after the first, but outscored the Dragons 22-8 in the second, and Madison never threatened in the second half.

Sage Frauendorfer led a trio of Bulldogs in double figures with 17 points, Tyson Herchenbach made 6 of 8 shots and 3, 3-pointers for 15 points, and Easton Baumgart scored 10. Frauendorfer also led the team with 9 rebounds, and Kurtenbach handed out 6 assists.
