The Archdiocese of Omaha respectfully, but firmly refutes accusations made in last week’s article, “School closures, merger appealed.”

Archdiocesan staff have been honest and transparent about the realities facing the junior and senior high schools in Humphrey and Lindsay throughout this merger process. Accusations to the contrary are simply ignoring the facts.

We reject the mischaracterizations made in the article, especially the inaccurate account of the Feb. 14 meeting and the lack of information about subsequent communications.
