A March ice and windstorm traveled through Cornhusker Public Power District’s service area March 25, causing approximately 2,800 meters to be without power, many for two days.
The storm started the morning of March 25 and did not let up until the evening of March 26.
The counties most impacted were eastern Boone, Nance and western Platte counties.
