Two different directions

Transition Team works on new school while those appealing hope it ends

One moves on, the other waits.

The Archdiocese of Omaha’s decision to close Humphrey St. Francis and Lindsay Holy Family grades 7-12 at the end of the school year, and create a new school — Archangels Catholic High School — has resulted in two sides, those who have been tasked to carry out the decision by the Archdiocese and those who have appealed to the Vatican, asking the decision be investigated.

The Transition Team is moving forward with the duties it has been asked to do by Archbishop George Lucas and get it ready to open in August for the 2024-25 school year as Archangels.
