It’s been 44 years since I graduated high school and 39 since my college graduation.
That went by fast. My high school graduation party was small by any standards, and I spent the summer getting ready to head to college far away from the friendly confines of home.
I had no idea what I was getting in to, but eventually figured it out — what choice did I have. That’s the thing about leaving childhood behind and entering adulthood, you have to figure out some things on your own.
