Juniors Garett Durkop and Karley Vering got a taste of the State Track & Field meet Friday and Saturday at Omaha Burke Stadium.
Durkop placed 13th in the 400-meter dash. The junior’s time was 51.92.
Vering finished with a mark of 34-10.50 in the discus, for 21st place.
