Roe V Wade was passed on Jan 22, 1973. This law allowed abortion to be legal. Abortion denies babies their right to life. Many innocent babies have lost their lives, without medial facilities getting legal consequences for these procedures.
With Abortion being legal, the protection and respect of a human life was no longer considered. As Cataholic faith, Pro Life is something we believe in. On June 24, 2022, US Supreme Court reversed Roe V Wade. Overturning a constitutional right to an abortion.
Each year, St Francis PRE program ask all 7th and 8th Graders to participate in the Omaha Archdiocese Pro-Life Essay Contest. There are 140 parishes in the Omaha Archdiocese. This contest has been going on for over 25 years.
