The long-awaited decision from the Omaha Archdiocese on the Families of Parishes was announced Wednesday, and for many it was a hard day.
The Archdiocese, in a letter to parishioners, announced Lindsay Holy Family School, grades 7-12, will merge with Humphrey St. Francis starting in the fall of 2024.
The letter from Archbishop George Lucas arrived in post boxes, and word quickly spread via text messages and word of mouth.
