My son, Alek, along with Peter, his wife’s uncle, and myself made a pilgrimage to the Coliseum to see the team I’ve rooted for for more than 50 years, the A’s, play their final season in Oakland.
Their billionaire owner John Fisher is moving the team to Sacramento the next three to four years to play in a minor league ballpark while a new stadium in Las Vegas is being built, which will become their permanent home.
