Bulldogs can't overcome 2nd quarter, fall to Neligh-Oakdale

Neligh-Oakdale opened up a big first quarter lead, and Humphrey- Lindsay couldn’t recover, falling to the Warriors 56-28 in the second-opener for both teams here Friday night.

Neligh-Oakdale led 36-12 after the first quarter thanks to the effort of Corbin Hoefer, who accounted for five touchdowns in the game, four in the first half.

Bulldogs head coach Brandon Kirby said his team adjusted to the screen, and played much better the final three quarters.
