Service errors proved to be the downfall of a spirited Archangels squad Saturday.
The Defenders fell in five sets here to Nebraska Lutheran, 2025, 25-17, 25-20, 25-27 12-15.
“I want to chalk it up to the first game, and we’ve been off for a week and a half, but against Howells-Dodge I thought our serves were more aggressive,” head coach Susan Lindsley said. “I keep telling them we see their potential that’s why we expect so much, that’s why we don’t accept that because this is not how they’ve been performing.”
