Unity Mass held in Tarnov Parishioners of five Catholic Parishes came together Sunday, Sept. 8, to celebrate a Mass of Unity and Thanksgiving.
Father Stan Schmit, pastor of Rural Family G Parishes, presided at the 10 a.m. outdoor Mass at St. Michael Parish grounds in Tarnov. Father Dan Wittrock and Deacons Dennis Anderson, Louis Dohmen and Eddie Fischer also took part in the celebration around the altar.
The comfortable fall temperature of about 75 degrees and the grotto dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary provided a perfect setting to bring the family of parishes together, Ss. Cyril & Methodius in Clarkson, St. Mary in Leigh, St. Francis in Humphrey, St. Michael in Tarnov, and Holy Family in Lindsay.
