Wayne State College is excited to announce its candidates for 2024 Homecoming Royalty. The winners will be crowned during the coronation ceremony at 7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 30, in Ramsey Theatre, located in the Peterson Fine Arts Building. The public is invited to attend.
The candidates and their hometowns are: Autumn Bender, Humphrey Bender is a senior majoring in Drafting & Design and Construction Management. Bender is active in SkillsUSA, Associated General Contractors, Drafting and Design Club, Student Senate, Alpha Lambda Delta, Epsilon Pi Tau, Theta Eta Sigma, Phi Kappa Pi, and the Philomatheans honor society. Bender is also a Susan Buffett Scholar.
Maya Couch, David City A senior majoring in Accounting, Couch is active in the Cooperative Education Career Scholars Program and the Philomatheans honor society. She is a former member of the Wildcat track team, as well as a former tutor, tour guide, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes member.
