For the first time since before the Covid pandemic students at our school were mandated as lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion at a ceremony during Mass.
On Sept. 26, Father Stan Schmit gave authority for 11 juniors and seniors and theology teacher Pejay Padrigon to perform these ministries at school and parish Masses.
Those students that were mandated to become Lectors, have taken up the job of proclaiming the readings at Mass: Isabel Preister, Chase Freudenburg and Jett Dunn.
