From Scholastic to Literati, the Book Fair continues

On Sept. 19 Julie Huettner was filling the Archangels Catholic High School gym lobby with shelves of books. She has been organizing the book fair for our school for 20 years. The fair ran five days through both the grandparent’s day celebration and parent-teacher conferences, so there was a lot of traffic and many purchases benefited both the elementary and high school libraries.

After years of Scholastic book fairs, this year she decided to try something new. And with that, the book fair was switched to Literati.

“I was very pleased with how the Literati book fair turned out.” Huettner says. “I loved seeing all the new authors and books, many of which I hadn’t seen before. I got a lot of new books for in the library and am excited to put them on the shelves. I am also very grateful to all the volunteer students and parents that helped set up and work the book fair.”
