On Oct. 11, the freshmen of Archangels Catholic High School participated in a transformative retreat at St. Michael’s Parish Hall in Tarnov. Led by Jon Krings, campus minister, and Travis Willnerd, theology teacher, the day was filled with enriching talks, prayer sessions, and opportunities for spiritual growth.
The retreat began with a morning Mass, graciously celebrated by Father Dan Wittrock, who dedicated his day off to guide the students in worship. Following Mass, the freshmen participated in adoration and confession, deepening their connection to their faith.
The primary goal of the retreat was to help the students cultivate a closer relationship with Christ by exploring various ways to pray. Discussions centered around the theme of God as a perfect friend, encouraging students to reflect on the personal nature of their faith.
