Bond mailer wording criticized

Archangels Catholic High School’s need for Humphrey Public School courses to maintain accreditation is being refuted.

A group from ACHS attended the HPS board of education meeting Oct. 14, including Lisa Krings, Sheila Goetsch, Ashley Krings, Steve Krings, Jennifer Dunn, JoJo Dunn, Spencer Eisenmenger and Ethan Bruland.

Lisa Krings objected to the language in a recent bond issue mailer that stated “Archangels provides 12 course offerings to its grades 9-12 students through Humphrey Public. Without access to these courses, meeting Rule 10 accreditation requirements would become challenging for Archangels.”
