For a first time appearance, Jaiden Anderson couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better outcome.
He raced at State Cross Country last Friday on the Kearney Country Club Golf Course. It was a gorgeous 55F day with a light wind, and Anderson was ready to go.
He got off to a hot start beginning with a 5:15 mile coming in at 8th place. The pace was a little too hot though, and Anderson slowed down to a 5:45 mile during the second mile landing him in 19th.
