I’m gaining an appreciation for airports and the people who work there.
I don’t travel a lot, maybe once or twice a year, but I am starting to understand and appreciate what it takes to make them run — and why the people who work there seem zombie-like.
If you’ve flown out of Eppley Airfield in Omaha within the past year or more, you know the whole place is under construction. It makes navigating dropoffs and pick-ups a little confusing, and passengers are rerouted at times to their terminals.
