Archangels hung with Columbus Scotus for a half, but the Shamrocks defense asserted itself as the Shamrocks posted a 57-43 win here Saturday.
“I think their defense is really good, they took us out of what we wanted to do,” head coach Eric Kessler said. “They suffocated us, they just really did a good job defensively. We got to the line a little bit the first half, but they just did a really good job. We didn’t execute quite as well as we would like, but I think that’s because they’re a great team.”
Scotus led 15-14 after the first quarter and 26-22 at the half.
