Defenders rely on defense in pair of wins

When you play defense like the Archangels Defenders, you don’t need to rely on your offense.

They used that formula here Saturday to post a 46-42 win over Fullerton.

“It was rag-tag and not aesthetically pleasing, but our defense was good enough. We always talk about a number as far as if we hold teams to certain number we usually win, so our defense was good enough, our offense is a work in progress, obviously, and we’ll have to get better,” head coach Eric Kessler said.
