Cornhusker Public Power District Board elects officers New officers were elected at the Cornhusker Public Power District Board meeting Jan. 20.
Jon Gehring, rural Platte Center, was elected president. He was appointed to the board in January 2017. He represents customers in Subdivision 7, Platte County precinct Shell Creek, Lost Creek/Burrows, and Sherman/ Grand Prairie excluding the villages of Platte Center and Tarnov.
Mark Palmer, rural St. Edward, was elected vice president. He has served on the board since October 2017. He represents customers in Subdivision 3, Boone County precinct Southeast Manchester, Southwest Manchester, Boone, and Beaver excluding the village of St. Edward and the city of Albion.
