Seventh Street will not be closed to accommodate portal classrooms.
The Humphrey City Council informed Humphrey Public School board members of its decision during the Jan. 20 council meeting.
Mayor Bob Preister said after consulting with the city attorney, it was recommended not to close Seventh Street between Pine and Chestnut streets.
