The number of people and places we come in contact with in a lifetime is more than we can measure.
I had a flashback last week when I was covering a basketball game and David City Aquinas was in town.
After I graduated college my first job was at a newspaper was in David City, Neb. I have not lived there since around 1992, so when I looked through the rosters of the boys and girls teams a lot of names looked familiar — but these are likely the grandchildren of the kids I covered back in the day.
