Humphrey High senior, Nora Bertrand was recently recognized by Omaha Public Schools Art Department, in partnership with the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers for two submissions for the 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
Nora’s portfolio containing six works from her mentorship at the Kent Bellows Studio in Omaha received an Honorable Mention.
Her piece, titled “Grow Your Mind,” was awarded a Gold Key in the category of Expanded Projects. Gold Key works move on and are judged at the national level in New York.
