Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) is pleased to announce a $5,000 donation to the Creston Rural Fire Department. This contribution will be used to purchase new bunker gear and support the upkeep of their new fire truck, ensuring the department can continue to provide essential fire and rescue services to the surrounding rural community. The donation was made by the Columbus branch of FCSAmerica. The formal presentation took place Jan.12, with several members of the Fire Department and FCSAmerica in attendance. The event featured the following attendees from the Fire Department: Waylan Dicke, Marcus Hoesley, Scott Muhle, Clay Groteluschen, Ross Kapels, Erik Johnson, Austin Kapels, Scott Hellbusch, Tony Wurdeman (Chief), Craig Rosendahl, Brandon Groteluschen, Weylen Leffers, Cade Behlen, and Nicolas Leffers. Representing FCSAmerica were Liz Hellbusch and David Wendt.
