Humphrey High senior Nora Bertrand was recently awarded a National Silver Medal in the 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for her work titled “Grow Your Mind.”
The program received mroe than 300,000 works submitted by over 100,00 students from across the country.
Of the 2,554 entries receiving recognition, there were 73 Honorable Mentions, 1,477 were awarded the Silver Medal and 1,012 were awarded the Gold Medal. Overall, less than 1 percent of all entries received recognition.
