Lindsay voters narrowly approved a 1 1/2 percent sales tax Tuesday in a special mail-in election.
Platte County Election Commissioner Eryn Roberts said unofficial results show 49 voted for the sales tax and 46 voted against it.
The result is not official until the canvassing board meets Thursday, but Roberts said there are no ballots in question.
