The change may have been subtle, but it flipped the script and led St. Francis to a 61-54 win over McCool Junction Thursday morning in the opening round of the Class D-2 State Tournament at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

The Mustangs jumped out to a 23-13 lead after the first quarter with BriAnn Stutzman and Ella Clark launching 3-pointers to pad the lead.
