On Wednesday, April 12, the St. Francis golf team traveled to Club 91 Golf Course in Leigh to compete in the Patriot Invite.
With temps in the 80s and gusty winds the Flyers had to battle difficult playing conditions as well as a strong 15 team field. The Flyers were able to shoot a team school of 369 which was good for the runner up trophy finishing 7 strokes back of Invite champion Cedar Bluffs/Mead who shot a 362.
St. Francis was led by senior Jaden Kosch who carded an 87 which earned him the 3rd place medal. Fellow senior Kegan Hackerott shot a 92 which was good for 10th place. Sophomore Andrew Kosch and freshmen Matthew Brockhaus both shot 95 to round out the team scoring for the Flyers. Senior Tyrel Wegener shot a 103 to finish as the alternate score.
