Making sure your children are buckled up cannot be over emphasized.
That’s the message Jesse Pfeifer and Daniel Osuna-Salazar, of the Nebraska State Patrol, presented April 10 during a demonstration at the Humphrey Fire Station.
They brought a simulator, called the Seat Belt Convincer. Participants are buckled into it, and it moves them forward, coming to a sudden stop to demonstrate the importance of seat belts, especially on children.
