The St. Francis Golf team traveled to Pender May 15 to compete in the Class D-2 district golf tournament.
The Flyers punched their ticket to the state tournament by finishing as the district runner up in the 15 team district meet.
Senior Jaden Kosch continued his strong play leading the Flyers with an 82 which was good for a 4th place finish overall. Sophomore Andrew Kosch and senior Kegan Hackerott shot 95 and senior Tyrel Wegener was one stroke behind with a 96 making up the 368 team score for the Flyers. Freshmen Matthew Brockhaus was the alternate score with a 121.
