Spending time on technology and social media has become almost a way of life for many toddlers, teens and beyond. But is it safe and healthy for youth and families?
Columbus Community Hospital and Smart Gen Society will offer four community events on Tuesday, May 30, to help families understand how social media and technology impacts youth and families.
The first event will be a coffee chat starting at 9:30 a.m. in the hospital's first-floor conference center, and will share information related to toddlers and technology. Attendees will learn to safely manage their young child's online exposure and activities. Through the workshop, Smart Gen Society staff will also share information about the long-term impacts of digital choices and help families build and develop a balanced digital wellness plan and team.
