The St. Francis golf team traveled to Lake Maloney Golf Course outside North Platte to compete in the Class D state golf tournament on May 23-24.
The Flyers were one of 15 teams to qualify after finishing as district runner up in the Class D-2 district meet held at Pender May 15.
St. Francis played some of its best golf of the season to finish 4th overall in the 2-day, 36-hole state tournament.
