Advanced Consulting Engineering Services (ACES), of West Point, will update the lagoon closing specifications.
The Humphrey City Council voted to pay ACES June 19 an additional $750 to develop new specs, which will be used to seek bids to close the old lagoon, located along Highway 91.
The council approved a contract of $10,000 in 2020, but after receiving bids it was cost prohibitive at the time to hire a company to close it.
