The Village of Lindsay gained a full-time maintenance worker and possibly a new clerk/treasurer.
Joe Palmer was hired during the board of trustee’s July 3 meeting to work in maintenance at $20 an hour. He started July 5.
He also is being trained to possibly become the clerk/treasurer to replace John Haynes, who announced he is leaving the post July 25.
