July 14 would have been my parent’s 72nd wedding anniversary.
They made it to 31 years before my dad died, but they packed in quite a bit in those years.
There’s a line in a television show that has always stuck with me. The dad in the family was talking about life and death, and on our tombstone there’s a dash that separates the day we were born and the day we died. That dash represents our lifetime.
