Connie Backes Hegemann passed away Jan. 26, 2023, in Mesa, Ariz., at Mountain Vista Medical Center.
She is survived by sons Rob Hegemann (Pam) of Hood River, Ore., and Jay Hegemann of Escondido, Calif. Grandchildren, Lindsey, Lauren, Luke, Beau, Blake and Brandon; sisters, Donna (Don) Wemhoff, of Humphrey, Neb., Cathy (Warren) Janssen of Columbus, Neb., and Judy Dush of Duncan, Neb.
She is proceeded in death by parents, Bill and Esther Backes; sisters Arlene (John) Engel, and Mary Jean (Dean) Ainsworth; brother, Danny Backes; and brother-in-law, Richard Dush.
